International Aid

Alongside our local initiatives, HIANA is dedicated to extending support globally. Through our International Aid programme, we partner with local organisations in developing regions to provide essential services in education, healthcare, and community support for youth in need.

What We Do

HIANA’s International Aid programme is focused on delivering impactful support to underserved youth around the world by addressing urgent needs in education, healthcare, and essential resources. By collaborating with local organisations, we create sustainable projects that uplift and empower communities facing hardship.

Our recent work has included supporting a local church in Albania, where we provided financial assistance to help them expand their youth outreach and community services. This project was close to our hearts, as a visit to the church revealed the vital role it plays in supporting local families.

Additionally, we are actively working in West Africa, where we helped build a school in Togo to improve access to education for young people in rural areas. Currently, we are filling a trailer with clothes, educational materials, and essential items that will soon be shipped to support these communities even further.

Who We Support

Our International Aid programme primarily supports vulnerable children and young people in developing regions, particularly in areas where access to education, healthcare, and basic resources is limited. We focus on communities impacted by poverty, conflict, or limited infrastructure, partnering with local organisations to ensure sustainable impact and community involvement.

We are proud of our partnerships in Eastern Europe, such as our recent work with the Albanian church, and our ongoing projects in West Africa, where we continue to support children and families through education and essential resources. Each project aims to foster resilience and self-sufficiency within these communities, creating a foundation for long-term growth.

When To Get Involved

HIANA’s International Aid projects are ongoing, with specific initiatives timed to align with community needs and project schedules. Supporters are welcome to engage at any time, whether through financial donations, sponsorship of specific projects, or volunteer support.

Each phase of our work is carefully planned: for example, our current effort to fill a trailer with donated clothes and valuable items for Togo involves gathering contributions from our local community, with plans for regular shipments throughout the year. Your support, whether through donations or material contributions, directly impacts communities and helps us meet the growing needs in these areas.

Why International aid Matters

At HIANA, we believe that every young person deserves access to education, healthcare, and opportunities for a brighter future, no matter where they live. Our International Aid programme is driven by a commitment to empower youth worldwide and create lasting change in communities.

The impact of our recent projects—like building a school in Togo and supporting the Albanian church’s outreach—highlights the difference we can make when we work together. By investing in these initiatives, we are helping break cycles of poverty and enabling youth in these communities to reach their full potential. Supporting HIANA’s International Aid efforts means becoming part of a movement dedicated to providing hope, opportunity, and empowerment across borders.

Where It Happens

HIANA is headquartered at HIANA House in Oldbury, Birmingham, where our International Aid efforts are coordinated. Although HIANA House serves as our operational hub, our impact extends across Europe and Africa, with project sites in Romania, Togo, and other developing regions. Our team frequently visits these sites to connect with local leaders, evaluate progress, and identify emerging needs, ensuring that our resources are applied effectively and transparently.

At HIANA House, we also organise community events to raise awareness and gather resources for our international projects. Whether you’re donating to our West Africa aid shipment or learning about our work with Albania communities, HIANA is your link to making a meaningful global impact.
